Those beautiful custom rugs don't appear by magic!
| It takes an artist's eye, lots of know-how, and old-fashioned hard work, as you can see below. |

| First, we lay out the pattern so it can be drawn evenly. |

| Then we inset the many different color pieces and do the carving. |

| Voilą! The beautiful finished rug. |

Hand-binding (left) gives custom rugs a tailored look. Our custom sisal carpets are hand-painted (right) to the customer's specifications. |
  
Hand Sewn Tapestry and Fabric Borders.Here at Rug Rats we hand sew all fabrics and tapestries to rug edges. We also hand sew the corner miters with a hidden whip stitch. This gives the finished rug a more tailored look! |
